Everyone is talking about this new part of town where we see so many new restaurants opening up and you might wonder what’s the fuss all about. Well to keep it simple, Versalles is developing very fast with new condo projects which brings a high demand for good affordable food and the result is that we see new restaurants opening up almost every week.
The Versalles neighborhood has very wide streets and the city has repaved many of them with the addition of large sidewalks perfect for setting up a small terrace. It created a new type of lifestyle, a bit more quiet that feels less touristy. Many resident and people who come to spend the winter months appreciate this new trend and you can see these places filling up every night.
When people ask me, where do you go eat as a local, I’m always thinking of taco stands but there is so much more than that in Vallarta! One of my favorite place is called Natureza and it has nothing to do with vegan food although there is plenty of options for all type of eaters.
If I want to have comfort food I go there and order the Chilaquiles con Pollo or one of their fabulous omelet!
It’s like 5 star food and presentation, with 3 star prices. Healthy, delicious, great ambiance, fantastic extra touches. The only problem is that it’s too popular. If you come during the day, there might not be seats or you’ll have to wait for food. Other than that’ you’ll be glad you choose to eat here.
